2014 Giant Defy Advanced (Medium)
Giant’s endurance road bike smooths out the road. Ridden to a second place in this year’s Paris – Roubaix, the Defy is a competent race bike or all-day devourer of kilometres, on the roughest of roads. The model pictured has Shimano Ultegra Di2 electronic shifting but we have the Defy in 105 and Ultegra mechanical in stock as well. We are offering a 25% discount on the 3 Medium bikes we have on the showroom floor. If you ride a bike with a 54cm top tube, this could be your new bike.
Cyclemania had their Giant Demo Day on Sunday the 4th May.
Each attendee received a goodie bag with free samples as well as some fine coffee by Pedaling Beans and plenty to eat and drink courtesy of Wayne and Melissa cooking up a BBB hotdog and onions in fresh rolls and all downed by chilled drinks straight out of the esky.
Big thanks to the boys from Giant bikes, Nathan, Phil and Michael. Big thanks to Torq nutrition for supplying Torq products. Big thanks to Cyclemania staff, Wayne and Melissa, Dave, Richard and Nick.
Keep a look out for our next scheduled Demo day, sometime around September, showing 2015 model bikes.
Cyclemania will have their custom Seight clothing available for purchase on Seight’s website in the “my team shop” tab.
Click HERE to be taken straight there. Customers will have until the 20th November to place their orders. It will be delivered direct to their stipulated delivery address. Use “Cyclemania” as the password when prompted.
Ronald McDonald House Charities
Cyclemania is a proud sponsor of the RMHC Ride for Sick Kids WA 2013. The RMHC Ride for Sick Kids WA is an annual fundraising event where a team of 30 riders pedal over 400km to raise much needed funds for Ronald McDonald House.
In 2013 the team will ride from the 9th to the 12th of October and pedal a tremendously rewarding 400km over four days from Busselton to Perth. The ride will help to raise funds for a much larger, state-of-the-art House, which will be located alongside the new children’s hospital in Nedlands. While the riders will be hurting physically on the ride, it is all for a great cause- to provide a home-away-from-home for regional families of seriously ill children.
The inaugural RMHC Ride for Sick Kids WA in 2012 raised $210,000. This year the team aims to raise at least $300,000, but we cannot do this without your help! To make a donation please visit www.rmhcrideforsickkidswa.org.au.
